The forth graders are making a series of expressive self-portraits. In each drawing, they have to make a different facial expression that conveys some type of emotion. We looked at photobooth strips for inspiration:
We noticed how people in photo booths often feel free to make really interesting faces. We also noticed that sometimes people bring silly props, which make the pictures even more unique. This week, the forth graders could bring their own prop to art for one of their drawings. Oh, did they have fun! The fun props really brought out some EXPRESSIVE faces!
